The Rough Path

So a friend of mine told me that I needed to choose a path to take and then stick with it. She said that neither road offered would be easy but I must commit to the one that I choose. So I have chosen the path I believe to be the right one for me. Divorce. It is not going to be easy I know. I feel like I've been at a similar place in my life before and gotten through it but I never expected to do this again. Someone said to me that I am not starting over, only beginning a new chapter in life. I am not sure I am strong enough to begin this new chapter. Today I am feeling like tomorrow I should just stay in bed all day but I know I can't do that. I can not let this defeat me. I must keep treading water and holding my head up. I will get through this in time and hopefully be a stronger and more independent person because of it. I know that it will be a rough couple of months and I am not looking forward to it but life continues whether I want it to or not. I am just greatful for great friends and an extremely wonderful family.

Satan's Return

So Saturday may have been one of the funnest (if that's a real word) days I've had in a long time. This could possibly be attributed to the fact that I was intoxicated the majority of the day, I was with some of the greatest people I know, and my "Satan" side returned. Alcohol has a great affect on myself and my friends; well at least in my opinion. Conversations turn highly inappropriate (I have goosebumps everywhere, and I mean everywhere.) and fun is had by all (well except for strange girls who don't like us, myself especially, for some unknown reason). I'd like to believe we are outgoing and friendly in a "sit back and let you come talk to us and if you don't we don't care" way. But apparently this frame of mind we get into sometimes causes girls to want to "straight punch a bitch" direct quote. But I love all who put me in a great mood and gave me a great weekend!! Love you all!!

Book intro

She was just leaving the school. Her briefcase overflowing with what he was sure was teaching supplies and activities. He wondered as she set everything in the car where the flowers were. He knew she had received them because he’d been watching. He had seen her face light up when she saw them. He saw her as she breathed in deeply the scent of them and then he’d seen her face fill with delight and confusion when she read the card. He had not put his name on it but instead left only a few words from her favorite book. He knew she would love it and wonder who knew her so well. Perhaps, she would imagine a secret admirer. He lingered over the thought of her envisioning him.

He continued to watch her intently; her every move only adding to his obsession. Without knowing it, the simple adjustment of her hair over her shoulder highly aroused him. He wondered how it would smell, how it would feel, when he finally ran his fingers through it. He knew that day would come and he relished in the thought of it. It would be the day she would know how much he loved her and the day she would discover that she loved him.

Wine Night

I realized when I woke up this morning, after spending a wonderful night drinking wine with a good friend, that I had signed up for a blog. I also remembered that he URL I had chosen for my blob was slightly odd but it also works. I am religious and am not satanic. The name stems from a crazy night that only a few friends truly experienced and they know who they are and will find humor in the URL. I enjoy writing immensely and hope that this will be a great place to do just that.
